NON-MAGNETIC DRILL COLLARS

Non-magnetic drill collars (NMDC) perform the same standard functions as conventional steel drill collars.

Main feature of NMDC is elimination of BHA steel components magnetic influence on MWD tools.

Magnadur 501 and 601 (austenitic nitrogen-reinforced stainless steel) is used for NMDS manufacturing in PZTO Titan.

Each NMDC goes through ultra-sonic inspection, NMDC's thread connections are processed of high-precision CNC machines and comply with АPI Spec.7.

Each NMDC thread is equipped with protectors securing it from mechanical injuries.
